Gangs of New York is Martin Scorsese's epic film depicting the brutal xenophobia felt-and acted on- by those already here toward newly-arrived immigrants in 19th Century New York City. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, 1997), Cameron Diaz (There's Something About Mary, 1998), and Daniel Day Lewis (My Left Foot, 1989).
